According to studies by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, organizations may be losing as much as 5% of their annual revenues to fraud and corruption. Fraud prevention can increase an organization’s financial performance as well as helping to protect it from the financial and reputational catastrophe that major fraud often causes. Fraud prevention & detection is not as complicated or expensive as one might think and can greatly assist auditors and accountants in adding value to their organisations.
This training course is designed on a practical basis, encouraging discussion and participation from delegates. Theoretical presentation topics will be covered in a workshop environment, with supporting case studies and videos of topical issues (DVD’s will be used to introduce the audience to an American mafia boss and a South African ex-fraudster and a whistle-blower), thereby providing the maximum benefit of the training workshop to the delegates.
